Vexata has re-architected the storage controller architecture for active data by completely separating the control and data paths through the Vexata Operating System (VX-OS). This distributed architecture provides scalable, lightning fast I/O processing through a cut-through data path that adds negligible latency, allowing the system to fully utilize high performance NVMe Flash and Memory-Class (3D XPoint) SSD media via standard interfaces such as Fibre Channel and Gigabit Ethernet (NVMe over Fabric). The result is simplified deployments, amazing performance and disruptive economics for enterprise transactional, analytical and machine learning/deep learning ecosystems.

THE VEXATA ACTIVE DATA ARCHITECTURE ELIMINATES I/O LATENCY

Vexata uniquely addresses performance of enterprise database and analytics systems by offering an software stack that delivers cut-through data path processing using dedicated acceleration hardware in a scalable, distributed data path architecture. Separation of the data and control traffics completely offloads all of the control path processing to minimize internal system latency and fully utilize the NVMe and 3D XPoint solid state media. This provides the assurance that as the media evolves, delivering lower I/O latencies, the VX-OS architecture will maintain the lowest possible system latency to the applications.
