Vexata (@VexataCorp) announced today the availability of industry-leading reference designs for Oracle® Database Real Application Clusters (RAC) featuring Supermicro® servers with Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors and the Vexata VX-100F System. These reference designs offer both unparalleled performance and economic scale for today’s most demanding Oracle OLTP and OLAP workloads.
In an industry first, Vexata showcased a 4-node Oracle RAC achieving over 4M SQL OLTP IOPS and 35GB/s of bandwidth at under 500 microseconds end-to-end latencies. The compact 1/3rd rack reference design consists of four Supermicro dual-socket servers, two Brocade® 6520 32G fibre channel (FC) switches and a single Vexata VX-100F System.
