Fujitsu + Vexata | Advanced Architectures for the Cognitive Era
Vexata announced that it has entered into a formal reseller agreement with Fujitsu that enables the Fujitsu solutions teams to deliver complete solutions for traditional and emerging applications in North America. This relationship enables the Fujitsu America team to work with the Vexata field teams to architect, sell and deliver advanced, high-performance infrastructure solutions targeting transactional and analytic solutions across a number of financial, biotech, manufacturing, rich media and service provider environments.
Aside from the technology, credibility and customer exposure that this alliance brings forward, the larger impact of the Fujitsu – Vexata partnership is the ability to deliver advanced solution architectures to address some of the toughest enterprise applications and analytics frameworks at the forefront of a number of AI and Deep Learning initiatives. These solutions will be designed and architected at the Fujitsu solution lab, located in Santa Clara CA, is an amazing facility that features a state-of-the-art data center and an adjoining Executive Briefing Center that provides customers with an immersive experience and the ability to demonstrate these joint technologies using real and synthetic application workloads for proof-of-concepts and technology solution validation work.
The Vexata VX-100F Scalable NVMe Flash Array, alongside the Fujitsu Primergy family of enterprise servers offer customers with best in class performance, scale and availability for enterprise applications and workloads. Some recent work completed within the Fujitsu Solutions lab include Oracle RAC and Flash Cache deployments and solution architectures, but expect a number of advanced analytic and AI solutions to be rolled out in the coming months.
Personally, I am excited for the opportunity to work closely with the Fujitsu team to build out these customer reference architectures and to broaden the reach of the Vexata and Fujitsu technologies to continue to drive differentiated solutions to our joint customers. This is a huge milestone to establish a broader technology and solution ecosystem that fully leverages the combined strength of the Vexata and Fujitsu portfolios.
